Harry’s Cafe d’Wheels – Woolloomooloo

Lyle, John and I really enjoyed the tour. It was a great way to see the city and get a real feel for it, especially for a busy business traveller who want to see as much of the city as possible in a short period of time. Our guide had a great understanding of the city’s history and can explain the evolution of its many distinct neighbourhoods which truly make Sydney one of the most beautiful and unique cities in the world.

South Sydney is full of character, history, multicultural influences and most of all great food….

With a Mediterranean/Asian theme, the tour starts with Lebanese treats… they are the real deal and absolutely divine. Next it’s on to the Greek bakery to sample what’s hot in Marrickville that week before walking a small distance up the road to the Greek butcher for their fabulous signature ‘Chabi’. Hot or mild the taste is guaranteed to blow your hair back. At this point of the tour you’re probably getting the taste for something cool and refreshing.

 

BEER is next on the menu. Sydney’s very own St. Peters Boutique Brewery, produces a range of popular tastes and distributes to a select group of pubs and bars in the local area.

What a fantastic day Barry and I had. We came home with so many yummy goodies. We had a ball. Scott was fabulous, we really enjoyed him as our guide.
